Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef for the Continental Section to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing and cooking a variety of Continental dishes, along with excellent leadership skills to assist in managing kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food preparation.
Prepare and cook Continental dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development.

Skills and Qualifications

4-6 years of experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment.
Proficient in preparing a variety of Continental dishes.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to follow recipes and presentation specifications accurately.
