Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented US Payroll Accountant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for our US employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate payroll records.

Responsibilities

Process US payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Maintain and update employee records in payroll systems.
Calculate and process wages, bonuses, and deductions.
Prepare payroll reports and assist in the reconciliation of payroll accounts.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with year-end payroll processing and preparation of tax documents.
Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

1-4 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with US payroll.
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, and state-specific laws.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
