Sourcing Specialist

Role Overview: As a Sourcing Specialist for new product launches, you will be responsible for researching new products and trends both in India and globally. Your role will involve the experience of launching new electronic products from China suppliers to India, sourcing products from Alibaba, handling imports, customs, freight, documentation, and working with OEM/ODM partners on SKD/CKD assembly and manufacturing in both China and India. You will also need to have knowledge of BIS/ISI and other certifications to ensure compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Research new products and trends in India and globally - Experience in launching new electronic products from China suppliers to India - Source products from Alibaba to India - Handle imports, customs, freight, documentation, etc. - Work with OEM/ODM partners on SKD/CKD assembly and manufacturing in China and India - Ensure compliance with BIS/ISI and other certifications Qualifications Required: - 1-4 years of experience in purchase/procurement (electronics/appliances preferred) - Knowledge of imports, customs, duties, and supply chain - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills - Startup mindset - fast, flexible, and hungry to grow!
