About this opportunity:Join our dynamic team at Ericsson as a Solution Architect. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable technical solutions in your respective technical domain. These solutions will be based on customer specifications and business needs. As Solution Architect, you will be responsible for creating both short- and long-term profitable business strategies for Ericsson. This will be accomplished by working closely with the Core 3 team to translate customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals.What you will do:
- Should have expertise / knowledge / sound understanding of RHOS / CEE /Docker /Containers /Kubernetes over BSP / Dell / HP / HDS hardware
- Analyze complex customer requirements and evaluate high level solutions and prepare detailed technical E2E solutions, within the framework of Core 3 team activities
- Select or propose 3rd party suppliers/products for the customer solutions and manage customized solutions and products, including 3rd party products in a multi domain environment
- Identify growth opportunities from maturing solutions – drive innovation and monetize existing footprints through new solution / offering design for such customer / accounts
- Drive / Expand business and service offering with the customer by finding new monetization opportunities / expanding existing solutions and build relationship with customers to drive business growth
- Manage and report the live node activities by following the PAT process and track any review , update including RCA till closure
- Good analytical skills, written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
The skills you bring:
- 10+ Years of experience working in Digital Services portfolio on multiple deployment methodologies like BareMetal, Virtual/Cloud deployments and Cloud Infrastructure is preferred
- Knowledge of GSM Technologies with sound background in Telecommunication is preferred with strong E2E solution design experience
- Expertise in IP Architecture,REST (5G interfaces Nchf, Nnrf), DIAMETER, Gx, Gy, Ro, ESy, Sy and SCAPV2 Interfaces is preferred and knowledge in SS7 Signaling, CAP V1,2,3, MAP, INAP and Rest interface is added advantage
- Expertise in various Call flows, Intelligence Network Architecture & its applications and business use cases
- Good knowledge on IP design & routing protocols for different hardware & deployment types
- Experience working on Evolved Charging and Billing/BEAM
- Good understanding of Evolved Charging and Billing data model and architecture
- Expertise in various virtualization products and hypervisors like – VMware, KVM, OpenStack is required
- Expertise in Containers/Kubernetes/micro-services environment. Ericsson Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS) including Cloud Container Distribution (ECCD), Software Defined Infrastructure(SDI) experience added advantage
- Good understanding of DevOps & CI/CD pipeline concepts and GITOPS principles
- ETCP Certification (Ericsson Charging, CBIO, IP or Cloud/5G core) is added advantage
- External Linux/Cloud (AWS,GCP)/IP/GITOPS certification will be an added advantage
- Good leadership skills not limited to negotiations, technical discussion facilitation/driving. He/she must have experience of technically leading a team to achieve the project objective
