Job Summary:

The Solar Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end execution of solar energy projects, from initial planning and design through to commissioning and handover. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background in the solar industry. They will lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from site assessment and feasibility studies to design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Oversee daily operations and progress on-site, ensuring all activities align with the project plan.
• Team Leadership and Coordination:
• Lead and manage a project team of engineers, technicians, and construction professionals.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
• Budget and Risk Management:
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
• Manage change orders and variations to the project scope, cost, and schedule.
• Quality and Safety Assurance:
• Implement and enforce strict quality management systems to ensure all work meets technical specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain a safe working environment.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues that arise.
• Prepare and present detailed project reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant regulatory bodies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
• Experience: 2-7+ years of experience in solar project management or a related field within the renewable energy sector.
• Technical Knowledge:
• In-depth understanding of solar PV systems, electrical engineering, and construction processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Project Management Expertise:
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from start to finish.
• Strong skills in planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Proficiency in project management software
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,303.85 - ₹50,241.22 per month
