Software Support Specialist


Key Responsibilities

1.     Technical Support:

  • Respond to and resolve software-related queries from clients via email or phone.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues, escalating when necessary.

  • Guide clients in using software features and functionalities effectively.

2.     Software Configuration and Testing:

  • Assist in configuring software to meet client requirements.

  • Test and replicate reported issues for resolution or escalation to the development team.

3.     Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and reported issues in the ticketing system.

  • Prepare user guides, FAQs, and other support documentation.

  • Provide feedback to the product team regarding common user challenges and feature requests.

4.     Training and Onboarding of New Clients:

  • Conduct user training sessions and onboarding for new clients.

  • Create and deliver presentations or webinars for client training.

5.     Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure timely resolution of bugs and issues.

  • Coordinate with the sales team to understand client-specific needs and expectations.


Qualifications:


  • Education

    : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.


  • Experience

    : 1–3 years of experience in a software support or similar role preferably in IoT Domain. Freshers with relevant skills may also apply.


  • Technical Skills

    :
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software applications.
  • Basic understanding of SQL, databases, and APIs is a plus.


  • Soft Skills

    :
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
