Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts (using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or others).
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure quality.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Perform regression and smoke testing for releases.
- Assist in creating and maintaining QA documentation and test reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in QA/testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (black box, white box, regression, smoke, UAT, etc.).
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Postman (for API testing), or similar.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
- Exposure to performance/load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with databases and writing SQL queries.
