Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services. You will play a critical role in optimizing our deployment processes and ensuring smooth software delivery, while also mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and other similar tools.
Oversee version control practices, ensuring proper code management using Git and related repositories.
Manage software packaging processes with tools like InstallShield, Basic MSI, and Install Script.
Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or equivalent scripting languages to streamline operations.
Integrate cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to enhance deployment and infrastructure management.
Utilize project management and requirements tracking tools like Jira or Rally to facilitate effective workflow and task completion.
Mentor and guide junior developers and DevOps staff to foster professional development and knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in various environments including development, testing, and production.
Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and methodologies to drive continuous improvement within the DevOps processes.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
Strong expertise in version control systems, particularly Git, and proficiency in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
Experience with software packaging tools such as InstallShield, Basic MSI, and Install Script.
Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell and other scripting languages.
Solid understanding of cloud services and experience deploying applications in platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Rally.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
