Accountabilities
- Design and develop high-quality software components and architecture
- Manage tasks throughout the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and documentation
- Automate routine tasks using appropriate tools and scripting languages
- Participate in code reviews and engage in technical discussions to ensure code quality and design standards
- Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate them when beneficial
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues with effective solutions
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and plant IT teams to refine requirements and ensure alignment
- Mentor and support junior software engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and dependency injection
- Experience in backend microservices development and database programming
- Familiarity with cloud computing fundamentals, particularly AWS
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, including code versioning and CI/CD pipelines
- Passionate about software engineering and continuous learning
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Frontend development experience with ReactJS and Typescript
- Knowledge of Golang is highly desirable
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IAC), Docker, and Serverless technologies
