Software Engineer

Accountabilities:
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and testable software solutions based on complex business needs
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle including code reviews, deployment, and production support
- Translate business and functional requirements into clear, actionable technical tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and usability
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in development, architecture, and testing
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, support containerization efforts, and ensure code meets operational standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-call support when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python with strong software design and architecture skills
- Experience building scalable web applications using Django
- Solid knowledge of SQL and database systems like PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, and RDS
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins
- Working knowledge of Docker and container-based development
- (Bonus) Experience building RESTful APIs and working with a React frontend
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
