Responsibilities

We are looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals who are passionate about developing high performance, low latency, infinitely scalable, complex frameworks/libraries/experiences covering Cosmos DB distributed protocols, to be used by customers across the globe in business-critical workloads. These workloads capture the needs of the hobbyist developer to the Fortune 500 companies.We are looking for experienced software engineers with:  

• Passion for building highly scalable systems Good problem-solving, scalable design and troubleshooting skills Self-starter, execute, finish and accountable for the feature, while maintaining a very high-quality bar
• Ability to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues/abstractions and technologies understandably

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Mathematics or Physics or IT related technical discipline or in place of 5+ years of internship or 5+ years of industry software engineering experience
• Proficient in C++, C# or other high level languages
• 3+ years of experience in building and shipping production grade software or services
  

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

• Good design, implementation, testing and problem-solving skills with strong system sensibilities
• Good understanding on database, index implementation techniques
• Familiarity with backend development
• Familiarity with high performance open-source tools and frameworks
• Familiarity with multi-threading, synchronous and asynchronous programming
• Hands-on experience at shipping large-scale, commercial, online-software solutions

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
