Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview :-

Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized corporations and institutional clients worldwide. The Risk and Finance Technology team provides end-to-end technology solutions and support for Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officers. Global Regulatory Reporting Technology partners with Global Finance Controllers & CFO business stakeholders to automate complex business processes that satisfy current regulations and position the firm to address future regulatory requirements. Operational and Line of Business Regulatory reporting comprises of Regulatory disclosures, financial and nonfinancial reporting to all the stakeholders across the globe. The portfolio is responsible for designing, building and maintaining high performing software systems that are used by APAC, EMEA and US regulators globally.

Description

Developer with strong ETL experience in Informatica PowerCenter and IICS Cloud version with Unix Scripting and SQL having delivery background, Communication, ability to spot opportunities and a “Go Getter” attitude with an ability to juggle multiple projects with technologies, like Oracle and job Scheduler such as Autosys. Experience in implementing ETL data integration projects in Banking domain with Informatica PowerCenter, Unix and Oracle technologies.

Responsibilities

• To work closely with project and technical teams to develop ETL solution as per the business requirement and perform Unit testing and Performance Testing.
• Support System Integration, User Acceptance and Regression testing. Perform Data loads in lower environments required for testing.
• Work closely with Development and testing teams to develop and implement solutions.
• Develop best practices and analyze bugs or defects and work with technical team to fix the gaps.
• Ability to work in multi technology project

Experience Range- 4 to 10 Yrs

Foundational skills

• Experience in Understanding of business requirements and develop ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter/IICS integrating with Unix Scripting and dealing with Oracle Database.
• Experience in designing and developing data integrations using ETL Informatica PowerCenter/IICS/Unix Scripts/SQL.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting for any failures and data discrepancies and provide quick resolutions for Production failures.
• Understanding of corporate banking & global markets financial products is an added advantage
• Experience in understanding software development process and Agile/Scrum process.
• Experience in analyzing technical requirements, creating mapping documents
• Good communication skills and experience in working in a virtual team
• Previous experience in regulatory reporting projects
• Highly motivated, able to work independently, self-starter; and problem/solving/analytical
• Excellent interpersonal skills; positive attitude; team player; flexible
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changes
