Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our SaaS Next-Gen Platform team located in Bangalore, reporting to the director of Software Engineering. In this role, you will use the latest technology to deliver the core foundation for all Infoblox applications. You will also play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud networking solutions and have the opportunity to work with the best of the technical and thought leadership team at Infoblox. You are the ideal candidate if you are a great collaborator, strategic thinker, operate independently, and are deadline and results-driven.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain the Infoblox’s Universal DDI product suite
• Participate with the stakeholder and contribute in various design discussion
• Develop REST and gRPC APIs, as well as contribute to the overall API framework
• Contribute towards software development adhering to high availability, upgrades, and security
• Explore on the opportunities for improving the existing Cloud native applications
• Bring in software development best practices
• Work with a team that is highly motivated and working on cutting edge technologies
• Working on various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP
• Stay up-to-date on key trends, especially in the area of cloud platforms and networking solutions
• Work closely with various cross-functional teams and other stakeholders

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years of experience in software development with proven experience as a Golang Engineer or in a similar software development role
• Excellent understanding of various cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and others
• Experience in microservices development with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of networking on cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Go programming language and a strong understanding of its core concepts
• Skilled in cloud native technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, EFK logging, and Prometheus monitoring
• Experience with system architecture and design patterns
• Familiarity with web frameworks and libraries used in Golang development, such as Gin and Echo
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven systems or integration of AI capabilities into cloud-native applications
• Knowledge of API design and development, including RESTful principles
• Understanding of concurrency patterns and experience with Goroutines and channels
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE or EE is required; master’s degree preferred

Six Months: Developed expertise in GoLang, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and begun building DDI domain knowledge

One Year: Become an expert in DDI and cloud-native development, significantly contribute to features, problem-solving, and design, while leading and taking ownership of projects
