Social Media Marketing Specialist

You should be able to understand the business, audience, and offerings, and translate that into effective social media content and ad campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and growth.


What You’ll Do

Strategy & Understanding

  • Understand the brand, audience, and positioning
  • Identify what type of content and messaging works on social media
  • Plan a structured social media marketing approach (organic + paid)
  • Decide what content to create, why it matters, and what outcome it should drive

Content & Social Media Management

  • Plan, manage, and publish social media content consistently
  • Write captions, hooks, and content directions
  • Coordinate with designers or editors when needed
  • Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistency across platforms

Paid Ads Management

  • Plan, run, and manage social media ad campaigns
  • Test creatives, audiences, and messaging
  • Monitor performance and optimize ads based on results
  • Understand which campaigns perform well and which don’t — and why

Growth & Optimization

  • Track social media and ad performance
  • Analyze what content and ads are working
  • Improve strategy, storytelling, formats, and targeting over time
  • Focus on long-term, sustainable growth rather than short-term trends

Ownership

  • Own social media marketing outcomes, not just posting or execution
  • Take responsibility for performance, learning, and improvement
  • Ensure smooth coordination and timely execution
