About the Role:

The Social Media Marketing Lead (Organic) will be responsible for driving the brand’s organic social media growth through strategic planning, creative innovation, and effective team leadership. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and performance of all organic social media initiatives to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and community building while mentoring a team of social media specialists and creatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute platform-specific social media strategies aligned with overall brand and business goals.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage, guide, and mentor the social media team to ensure effective calendar planning, timely delivery, and creative excellence.

Content Oversight:

  • Oversee the creation and curation of engaging, high-quality content (posts, reels, stories, collaborations) across all social platforms.

Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor key metrics such as reach, engagement, growth, and sentiment to optimize strategy based on data and insights.

Trend & Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay ahead of social media trends, algorithm updates, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for brand enhancement.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Work closely with design, content, project management, and performance teams to maintain brand consistency in tone, style, and messaging.

Community Engagement:

  • Ensure timely, professional engagement with followers, comments, and messages to foster brand loyalty and community.

Process Optimization:

  • Establish and refine workflows, calendars, and reporting systems for greater efficiency and scalability.

Reel & Shoot Planning:

  • Plan and coordinate low-production video shoots (reels, stories, BTS, testimonials) with the content and design teams to boost storytelling.

Creative Direction for Reels:

  • Identify trending formats and hooks for organic videos and guide the team through scripting, styling, and execution.

On-Ground Coordination:

  • Manage logistics including shoot scheduling, props, talent coordination, and location alignment for seamless content creation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Growth in organic reach, followers, engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Improved brand sentiment through proactive ORM efforts.
  • Consistent quality and timely output from the team.
  • Strong contribution to content ideation and calendar planning.
  • Team development and performance management.
  • Regular creation and execution of trend-based video content (reels/stories).
