Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Manager located in Kolkata. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies, creating and optimizing content, and ensuring a strong presence across various social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, posting and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and monitoring performance metrics to refine strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals.

Create engaging, high-quality content (text, images, videos, reels, stories).

Schedule and publish posts on various social media platforms.

Create a content calendar to ensure consistent posting across platforms.

Maintain brand voice, tone, and identity across all channels.

Ensure brand consistency in visuals and messaging.

Plan and run paid ad campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.

Monitor ad performance and optimize for better results.

Work closely with marketing, design, and content teams.

Coordinate with influencers, partners, or agencies when needed.


Requirements:

1–3 years in social media marketing or digital marketing roles.

Experience with brand management and online community engagement.

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.

Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).

Understanding of social media algorithms and trends.

Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).

Knowledge of paid advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads).

Ability to create and manage social media campaigns.

Excellent time management and organization skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong copywriting and storytelling skills

Crisis management and reputation handling

Multilingual communication (if targeting diverse audiences)

Social media analytics and reporting (Google Analytics, Meta Insights)
