Content & Social Media Manager (Podcast + YouTube Growth)

  • Managing the entire podcast production ecosystem
  • Driving YouTube reach through channel optimisation
  • Building a scalable clip-repurposing engine
  • Shaping the storytelling of high-level conversations
  • Ensuring content reflects Ken Research’s authority and intellectual depth

Key Responsibilities

1. Executive-Style Podcast Production (Primary Role)

  • Manage end-to-end production of

    deep, insight-driven podcast episodes

    with leaders and domain experts
  • Prepare structured episode briefs based on:
  • Industry research
  • Company background
  • Market trends
  • Relevant talking points
  • Coordinate guest communication, scheduling, and pre-session briefing
  • Ensure a polished, professional recording setup
  • Identify the strongest insights to shape long-form and short-form storytelling


2. Conversation Strategy & Thought-Leadership Positioning

  • Assist in designing

    conversation arcs

    for knowledge-rich discussions
  • Recommend frameworks, opening hooks, and narrative flow
  • Research each guest’s background and industry to prepare content direction
  • Maintain content tone reflecting:
  • Market intelligence
  • Strategic insights
  • Founder-level thinking
  • Business depth
  • Convert technical or complex discussions into clear, accessible content


3. YouTube Channel Growth & SEO

  • Own YouTube channel performance and strategic growth
  • Optimise:
  • Titles
  • Thumbnails
  • Playlists
  • Metadata
  • End screens
  • Tags
  • Improve

    CTR, retention curves, watch time, and discovery

  • Run continuous experiments to identify high-performing formats and topics


4. Short-Form Clipping & Repurposing Engine

  • Convert each podcast episode into:
  • Shorts & reels
  • 8–12 minute highlight videos
  • Insight clips
  • Quote cards
  • Topic-based carousels
  • Identify “viral clip zones” from long-form content
  • Work closely with editors to maintain high-quality, consistent aesthetics


5. Multi-Platform Distribution

Support distribution across:

  • LinkedIn (company + leadership handles)
  • Instagram Reels
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Spotify / Apple Podcasts
  • Website blog snippets

Publish content with correct hooks, captions, timestamps, descriptions, and CTAs.


6. Analytics-Driven Growth

  • Monitor weekly KPIs:
  • Reach
  • Impressions
  • Subscribers/followers
  • Watch time
  • Retention
  • Clip performance
  • Use insights to iterate content formats, posting cadence, and creative approach
  • Present performance dashboards to CMO/CDO


Skills & Experience Required

  • 2–4 years in podcasting, YouTube management, creator content, or digital growth
  • Strong understanding of

    long-form video formats and conversational storytelling

  • Ability to work with leadership-level personalities and maintain professionalism
  • Strong knowledge of business, markets, strategy, and research-driven content
  • Excellent copywriting for hooks, titles, descriptions, and storytelling
  • Understanding of YouTube SEO, channel optimisation, and platform algorithms
  • Familiarity with editing workflows (basic knowledge acceptable, team support available)
