About the Role:

Social Media Optimization (SMO) Specialist


Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SMO strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Optimize company pages and posts to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Regularly audit social media performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with content creators and design teams to create engaging and optimized posts.
  • Use tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc. for scheduling and analytics.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
  • Engage with the audience and manage online reputation and queries.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Social Media Optimization or Social Media Marketing.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific algorithms and engagement techniques.
  • Experience with analytics and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent written communication skills and creative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with paid social campaigns (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe tools, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SEO and how it integrates with SMO
