Job Title: Site Supervisor – Fire Protection, Detection, Suppression & Fire Pumps Systems Location: Pan India Reporting To: Project Coordinator Employment Type: Full-time Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Site Supervisor to oversee the on-site execution of Fire Protection, Detection, Suppression, and Fire Pump System installations across various projects. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth execution in alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations, while effectively coordinating with client representatives, project teams, and procurement. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution Execute on-site installation of fire protection systems, fire detection systems, fire suppression systems, and fire pump systems as per the approved Gantt Chart. Monitor daily progress, resolve execution issues, and align work with approved project timelines. Coordinate with client representatives to secure daily work front clearance. Reporting & Documentation Submit Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) to track actual progress vs planned milestones. Provide accurate and timely updates for billing to the Project Coordinator. Maintain detailed records of manpower, material usage, and work completion. Material & Inventory Management Plan and coordinate phase-wise dispatch and delivery of materials in collaboration with the Project Coordinator and Purchase team. Verify receipt of all materials (including pumps, suppression agents, detectors, piping, etc.) and obtain client sign-off confirming quality and quantity as per Purchase Orders. Organize and manage site stores for tools, tackles, and inventory. Manpower Planning & Supervision Assess manpower requirements for each installation phase (detection, suppression, pumping). Allocate tasks and monitor workforce performance to ensure timely and quality execution. Conduct daily attendance and ensure mandatory use of PPE by all workers. Safety & Compliance Conduct weekly safety inspections and confirm all workers are covered by valid insurance. Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including PPE use, site cleanliness, and safe handling of fire protection and suppression equipment. Identify and report any safety hazards; enforce compliance with regulatory standards. Logistics & Administration Organize local accommodation and welfare arrangements for site personnel. Coordinate with the Basic Elements Team to manage logistical and administrative requirements at the site. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in projects involving Fire Protection, Detection, Suppression, and Fire Pump Systems. In-depth understanding of installation procedures, compliance codes, and operational testing of fire systems. Proficient in project planning tools (especially Gantt Charts) and site management best practices. Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols, fire regulations, and quality standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple site activities under pressure and deliver results on time. Preferred Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field. Certifications related to fire system installation, safety management, or project supervision are advantageous.
