Job Overview: We are looking for a responsible and proactive Site Incharge to oversee day-to-day operations of our trailers, cranes, and other equipment deployed at NSL, Nagarnar. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in fleet/equipment management, basic mechanical knowledge, and strong administrative and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: ⚙️ Operational Management Ensure smooth daily operations of trailers, reach stackers, and other equipment Monitor vehicle deployment, trip execution, and equipment utilization Coordinate with drivers, operators, and NSL officials for planning & execution Supervise loading/unloading, parking, and movement within plant premises Ensure proper documentation (inward/outward slips, gate passes, trip logs) 🛠️ Maintenance Oversight Track routine maintenance and servicing schedules of vehicles & equipment Identify and report mechanical issues; coordinate for repairs Maintain breakdown records, fuel usage logs, and service history Supervise and verify work of mechanics or third-party maintenance staff 🧾 Administrative Work Prepare and maintain daily operation reports, logbooks, and attendance Submit daily status updates to head office Coordinate for spares, repairs, and vehicle documentation with HO Handle petty cash for on-site expenses (fuel, minor repairs, allowances) 🧑🤝🧑 Team & Liaisoning Manage a team of drivers, operators, and helpers Act as the key liaison between company and NSL site personnel Resolve day-to-day operational issues on ground promptly Ensure safety, discipline, and compliance among ground staff Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet/transport/construction equipment operations or related fields Basic technical knowledge of heavy vehicles and equipment Good command over Hindi; basic English (reading/writing) preferred Proficient in maintaining logs, registers, and Excel sheets Strong leadership, crisis management, and people-handling skills Should have a bike/scooter
