3 - 8 YearsMouritech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shopify Testing Engineer to join our growing team in Hyderabad. As a Shopify Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Shopify e-commerce solutions. You will work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to identify and resolve defects, ensuring a seamless and positive user experience for our clients and their customers.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing of Shopify stores and applications.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks.
Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, updates, and best practices.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Work with third-party app integrations and ensure seamless functionality.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Required Skills And Experience

3-8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on e-commerce platforms.
Strong understanding of Shopify platform and its ecosystem.
Proven experience in testing Shopify themes, apps, and customizations.
Experience with various testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and well-documented test cases.
Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Experience with API testing and tools like Postman.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.
Experience with mobile testing is a plus.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
