1 Ensure Safety of Curing & Mould Equipments

Loss Time Incident (LTI)/First Aid/Near Miss

Monitor LTI / First aid / Near Miss cases and ensure closure of safety abnormality pointsSafety - Ensure Root cause analysis is done and Plan Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA)Arrange Resources / PR followup / Follow up with Purchase for PO/ Material followup /Manpower arrangement & Execution of identified points

(Lock-out Tag-out) LOTO

Ensure Compliance of LOTO and corrective action against deviation

Health Safety Environment Engineering (HSEE)/Auto Safety Checks

Ensure completion of HSEEEnsure completion of Auto Safety Check projects

Mandatory Safety Release (MSR) Projects

Ensure Ontime completion of engineering related MSR ProjectsAdherence to Management of Change(MOC), Job Safety Analysis(JSA),Facility Management System (FMS),Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Safety SOP guidelines2 Ensure Uptime Improvement of Curing Equipments & Mould Management

Breakdown Maintenance

Analyse Previous day Curing Breakdown, Downtime, Occurence & Mould Set Up ChangeConduct Breakdown Root cause analysis (Why Why Analysis), Plan counter measures for repeated & Major Breakdown and reduction of Breakdown percentage for all equipmentsAnalyse Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) & Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) and draw action plan for MTTR Reduction & MTBF improvement by reducing Breakdown occurences and DowntimeImprove Uptime of Critical equipment

Preventive Maintenance (PM)

Ensure PM Compliance (CMMS), Followup with team as per the schedule and Identify the gaps in PM complaince and plan for 100% ComplianceIdentify obsolete Curing & Mould components and plan for migrationIdentify Curing abnormalities through periodical audits and Followup for correction

Shutdown Maintenance

Plan Curing Shutdown job, Arrange resources, PR & PO followup, Ensure safety and completion of planned jobsEnsure smooth startup of equipments after Plant shutdown

Predictive Maintenance - Based on life cycle or manufacturer recommendation of component ,parts or consumable are planned for replacement

Conditioned Based Maintenance - Based on conditioned monitoring, component, parts or consumable are planned for replacement

Spares Management

Analyse Critical Spares and ensure zero breakdowns due to want of sparesFollow up Purchase for PR to PO conversion and material requirementAttend Purchase HO meeting and follow up Of pending PR

Coordinate with Contractor for efficient operation of Mould Management

Coordinate with Mould Change , Ice Blasting and Fork lift contractorEnsure works along with AMC vendorsVerify contractor bills and approve3 Ensure Cost efficiency in Curing

Energy Conservation

Ensure Correction of Air, Water and Steam leakagesIdentify higher consumption equipment , analyse reason and take corrective measuresDiscuss with Team for Energy saving potentials and identify projects by brainstormingArrange resources for Energy saving activities, getting Budget, PR & PO followup, Execution and followupEnsure Existing Energy saving activities are going on track and expedite progress (Plan Vs Actual)

Spare/ Repairs &Maintenance (R&M) cost reduction

Monitor Curing & Mould spares, Service, R & M cost and ensure control as per the budgetIdentify high consumption spares, analyse the reason for the same and plan for reductionIdentify high value spares & look for low cost alternative

Tire Scrap reduction

Analyse Tire Scrap due to Press , Bladder & Mould and take corrective actions for reduction

Manpower cost

Check Man power compliance as per target and initiate corrective action against Deviation

Localisation of Spares

Identify scope for localisation of OE & imported spares4 Ensure completion of Projects on time Review Capex projects & Ensure 100% ComplianceIdentify Capex Projects , prepare justification and obtain approvalEnsure Machine Upgradation for process/ Quality/Productivity/Safety as per the Management requirement5 Ensure implementation of TPM,TQM 5 S, & Systems

TPM & TQM

Work towards Breakdown reduction, MTBF improvement, MTTR reduction, Energy and Spare cost reduction through JH Pillar and also closing of JH activities - Redtags, Source Of Contamination (SOC) & Hard To Access (HTA)Ensure employee involvement in Idea/ CFT/Kaizen/projectsImplement KaizensEnsure QCC progress & Follow up

5S

Ensure 5S improvement in Maintenance department and support other departments for the same

Training

Ensure Skill development , arrive training needs and prepare CalendarArrange Internal and External Training and Monitor Plan Vs Actual chart

Systems/Audit

Conduct IMS Internal Audit in assigned areasCoordinate for IMS Internal Audit and Follow up with team for Completion of Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) & Non Conformances (NC)
