Job Purpose Job Purpose Description Job Context & Major Challenges Job Context: Dalla Cement Works (DCW); a flagship unit of Ultratech Cement Ltd. (UTCL), is located around 120 km from Varanasi on Varanasi – Pipari SH-5 on the southern bank of river Sone. The unit started with an old unit K4 of 0.5 MTPA of clinker. The journey of excellence with technological Up gradation resulted in two units (Line-4 & 5) with ultimate capacity of 2.0 MTPA Clinker and 0.5 MTPA cement production. The unit produces Gray Cement & Clinker. Unit has certified for Integrated Management System & upgraded to 2015 version; which has inclusion of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 & OHSAS 18001. Dalla Cement Works has won several accolades at the national and international level for its Quality, Environment, Safety & Productivity. Dalla Cement is bagged with many awards. Some of them are Greentech award for best environment practices, National Safety Award by the Ministry of Labour & Employment (Govt. of India) , Three National Energy Awards i.e. First National Energy Conservation Award-2011 organized by Ministry of Power (Govt. of India) &BEE second - Energy Efficient Unit National Award for Excellence in Energy Management-2012 organized by CII and third – Energy Excellence Award in Energy Management 2013 organized by CII. Job Challenges Plant availability increasing by reducing number of breakdown through CBM, NDT. Productivity improvement by timely coordinate and conduct maintenance improvement studies. Coordinate for checking correctness of technical task /problems. Organise monthly performance review meeting to update status in various tasks such as PM KPI, Why Why quality, SAP PM Modules, MDRM. OIL analysis by vendor to conserve lubricants consumption. Balancing of process fans, static / dynamic. Timely updation of critical equipment history. Job Description Duties and Responsibilities : Ensure 100% Vibration measurement & Analysis of A, B, C Category Equipment on weekly and monthly basis. Total Lubrication Management (i.e. Ensure oil stock, Issue to Section and filtration as per need) Ensure all Major Drives lube oil sampling on quarterly basis. SAP compliance (i.e. why-why, PM07, Order slippage, Lubrication management, SAP abnormalities notification) Responsible for NDT in plant (i.e. UT, MPT, Thickness Test of all critical equipment, Thermography) Responsible for Dynamic Balancing and Laser Alignment of critical drives at plant. Site Abnormality audit & Ensure for compliance. (Leakage test, gearbox condition, bag filter etc.) Compressed air leakage measurement in quarterly basis. Ensure all Casting, SS material composition cross verification before GRN. Ensure Digital Initiatives Compliance in plant. (i.e. Online vibration sensor, digi check compliance) Major shutdown planning & Coordination from all deptt in plant and coordination for SD Review meeting on daily basis. Preparation of Shutdown report Monthly expenditure (S&S and RPM) tracking of all department. Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 Plant Availability Support maintenance team to Increase plant maximum availability by complying schedule monitoring of equipment health and raising notification on time for maintenance. Monitor preventive maintenance schedule for implementation Review the weekly and major shutdown plans Analyze major breakdowns and plan corrective actions. Interact with OEMs/Consultants for typical plant maintenance issues KRA2 Cost Control Monitor & Control over inventory by planning for consumption, Standardization & Optimization. Vendor development for import substitution Life value analysis of repetitive breakdowns and high value spares. Optimize the lube oil consumption Track maintenance budget KRA3 System Implementation Ensure for timely compliance of SAP-PM & Digi check KRA4 Improvement & Innovation for plant Doing de-bottlenecking and propose good capex for overall section performance improvement. Review the drawings and specification of plant spares for improvement KRA5 Safety Ensuring zero harm in section 100% compliance of all safety standards and all applicable recommendation related to section. Timely conducting self and team schedule SO & WTI and reporting to near-miss To ensure daily TBT and deliberating on safety incident or knowledge sharing Active participation in safety training, safety Sub Committee and any safety event by self and team Show more Show less
