An iconic global leader, the Pulp and Fibre Business, is the oldest business of the Aditya Birla Group, envisaged in 1947. The business has a global leadership position in Man-made Cellulosic fibre industry (with 23% market share) and is one of the major contributors towards groups overall turnover and profits. Its Viscose manufacturing facilities spread across 7 locations in 4 countries, Pulp Operations in 4 locations in 3 countries. The business has 4 VSF manufacturing plants in India (Nagda, Kharach, Harihar and Vilayat) under Grasim Industries Limited, 3 overseas - Thailand (TRC), Indonesia (IBR), and China (BJFCL). The viscose manufacturing is supported by backward integration with the pulp manufacturing facilities in India (Harihar), Canada (AV Cell, AV Nackawic, AV Terrace Bay) and Sweden (Domsjo).
Job Purpose
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the enterprise applications for the Marketing and Business Development (MBDD) function.
- Partner with Sales, Business Development, Planning and Logistics to identify and implement technology interventions that delivers quantifiable business benefits.
- Evangelize contemporary technologies, business processes and best practices in-order to implement them within the business function.
Job Context & Major Challenges
Context
- Demonstrate a keen agility to learn about sales and marketing processes within the business
- Good understanding of tools and technologies for Digital marketing, web and mobile Commerce and personalization
- Basic understanding of marketing tech platforms and technology CRM, sales planning, sales forecasting, supply chain tech
- Establish and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with vendors and service suppliers.
- Innovate, Lead and Transform business with help of Cloud and other emerging technologies.
- Evaluate and Implement Solutions for automating business process, employee Productivity improvement and collaborative platforms for employee engagement.
Major Challenges
- Work closely with internal and external stake holders for developing strategy and business case for Digital Solutions for Customer Intelligence, Digital Marketing and E-commerce
- Collaborate with different business teams for designing the solutions /platforms which will have appreciable returns on investment, easy to manage and scalable.
- Influence the business CXO to fast-track the adoption of new digital solutions
- Understand different technology landscapes and create scalable platforms

CRM application management for global sales and BD team
- Provide technical and strategic direction in improving UX and process improvement of Microsoft D365 CRM solution
- Management of day-to-day CRM backend activity and support functionality
- User management and evaluation of new requirements

IT and technology management for Navyasa by Liva (B2C business)
- Management of Microsoft D365 ERP
- User onboarding and management
- Manage retail, finance and operations module of D365 ERP customer data, discounts, coupons, schemes, etc.
- IT, POS and Ops management of Navyasa store
- Navyasa by Liva website and OMS (order mgmt. system)
- Integration of Navyasa website with satellite application (EMS, promotional marketing portal, payment gateway etc. )
Strategic partner engagement
- Manage partner engagement for IT development and support Microsoft D365 CRM/ERP, Navyasa websites, etc.
- Continuous evaluation of new technologies in the area of sales and marketing
- Work with partners to drive POCs/pilots with business users
- Formalize business case and buy-ins for solutions evaluated
- Manage engagements with strategic partners and start-ups
- Timely contract renewal and updates
Data Privacy and compliance
- Ensure compliance/adherence to data privacy guidelines as per DPDP and GDPR act where applicable
- Provide timely information to audit teams for compliance
MIS and Dashboarding
- Development and maintenance of reports/dashboards for various depts within sales and marketing team
IT and infra/tech management for MBDD
- Liva website and related technology management
- Rollout technology intervention to improve UX and improve working efficiency

Related Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering / computer science / Information Technology
- Experience in application management and API functionalities
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Work experience of 8-10 years in the technology domain
