Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ServiceNow scoped applications using Server and Client scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions and UI Policies following platform best practices.
• Build and enhance Service Portal pages, widgets and Service Catalog items to deliver seamless user experiences and self-service flows.
• Implement integrations and data flows using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and orchestration for third-party systems.
• Author and optimize Flow Designer workflows and custom workflow activities to automate core ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB updates).
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform unit testing, peer code reviews, and contribute to release activities and documentation for deployments.
• Collaborate with product owners, infrastructure and QA teams to gather requirements, estimate work, and deliver scalable, secure platform solutions.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience (scoped apps, scripting, Service Portal, Flow Designer).
• Strong JavaScript skills including Glide API, client/server scripting and REST integration experience.
• Practical knowledge of ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB) and experience implementing related workflows.
• Experience with MID Server, Orchestration, Import Sets/Transform Maps, LDAP/SSO integrations and security controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent; able to work on-site in India.
  

Preferred

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD); familiarity with Automated Testing Framework and Update Sets.
• Experience with performance tuning, CI/CD patterns for ServiceNow, and enterprise-scale implementation best practices.
