Role Summary:

ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ITSM applications: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
• Customize and configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and notifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Perform platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
• Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices and organizational standards.
• Provide technical support and resolve ITSM-related issues.
• Document development processes, configurations, and user guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on ITSM.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Experience with CMDB, service catalog, and SLA configurations.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ITSM Implementation Specialist preferred.
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and service management principles.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB integrations.
• Familiarity with Performance Analytics and Reporting.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of additional modules like ITOM, HRSD, or CSM is a plus.
