Service Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to oversee the maintenance, inspection, and readiness of repo electric auto-rickshaws across. This role is crucial for ensuring the refurbished repo fleet is operational, compliant, and ready for deployment or resale.

Key Responsibilities:

 Repo Vehicle Management:

o Take ownership of all repossessed EV rickshaws across designated cities.

o Oversee inspection, diagnosis, and repair of repo vehicles to make them roadworthy.

o Ensure accurate documentation of each vehicle’s condition and repair history.

 City-Level Service Coordination:

o Liaise with service partners, garages, and technicians in each city to manage repairs.

o Monitor turnaround times for vehicle servicing and refurbishing.

o Standardize service quality across cities.

 Spare Parts & Inventory:

o Ensure availability and optimal usage of spare parts.

o Track consumption trends and manage city-wise stock levels.

 Vendor & Workshop Management:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with local garages and service vendors.

o Negotiate service rates, ensure adherence to SLAs, and monitor service quality.

 Team Leadership & MIS:

o Supervise and train field executives or service coordinators (if applicable).

o Maintain detailed MIS on vehicle status, repairs, costs, and timelines.

Compliance & Quality Checks:

o Ensure each repo vehicle meets regulatory and company standards before reuse or resale.

o Conduct random quality checks across locations.

Candidate Profile:

 Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

 4-5 years of experience in service operations, preferably in 3W or EV segments.

 Exposure to repossession vehicle handling or used vehicle refurbishment is a strong plus.

 Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

 Willingness to travel extensively across cities.

 Working knowledge of EV systems, battery diagnostics, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
