Service Manager

As a Service Manager for construction/heavy equipment, your role will involve leading service operations, managing service teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, handling breakdown calls, maintaining service quality, and driving service revenue growth. You should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in this field. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage service team members to meet company goals by delegating tasks, monitoring after-sales service progress, and resolving departmental issues. - Recruit, train, and motivate team members for greater efficiency and a comfortable working environment. - Handle customer complaints and create long-lasting professional relationships. - Assist with administrative tasks such as managing invoices, taking orders, and handling inventory. - Develop service procedures, policies, and standards for improving customer service goals. - Advise clients or management on recommended equipment servicing and maintenance schedules. - Maintain connections with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives. - Monitor, analyze, and report departmental results. - Stay updated on industry regulations, restrictions, laws, innovations, and trends to ensure compliance. **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering. - Strong knowledge of construction and heavy equipment. - Ability to handle customer complaints professionally and provide effective resolutions. - Leadership skills to supervise a team of service engineers, technicians, and support staff. - Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. - Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation through service. - Understanding of service profitability and cost management.
