As a Service Manager, your role will involve managing the entire workshop operation to meet revenue targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff to deliver top-notch automotive service and repair work. Your technical expertise and strong leadership and communication skills will be crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the workshop's daily operations, including scheduling, workflow, and quality control. - Cultivate a customer service-oriented culture to maintain high satisfaction levels and handle complaints promptly. - Lead and mentor service advisors, technicians, and support staff to keep them motivated, engaged, and well-trained. - Drive workshop revenue through service and repair work, upselling services, and optimizing technician efficiency. - Ensure workshop meets productivity and efficiency targets, delivering high-quality work within specified time frames. - Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and adherence to health and safety regulations. - Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies. - Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices for improved workshop performance. Qualifications: - Prior experience in a similar automotive industry role, preferably in a dealership setting. - Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive service and repair. - ITI/ B.Tech/ Diploma in Automobile. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team. - Familiarity with industry regulations and health and safety standards.
