Job Title: Service Engineer – PLC & SCADA (Solar Power Plant Commissioning)Location: Ahmedabad Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: Fresher Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar PowerJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer with expertise in PLC and SCADA programming for the commissioning of solar power plants. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in wiring, networking, and programming to ensure the smooth installation, configuration, and maintenance of automation systems in solar power plants.Key Responsibilities:· PLC & SCADA Programming: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC logic and SCADA systems for monitoring and control of solar power plant operations.Commissioning & Testing: Perform end-to-end commissioning, testing, and validation of automation systems, ensuring proper integration with field devices and networks.· Wiring & Electrical Setup: Install and inspect control panels, sensors, actuators, and electrical wiring according to system design and safety standards.· Networking & Communication: Configure and maintain industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc.) to enable seamless data communication between PLCs, SCADA, and remote monitoring systems.· Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to PLC, SCADA, and control systems to minimize downtime.· Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical reports, wiring diagrams, and commissioning documents as required.· Collaboration & Support: Work closely with design engineers, project teams, and site technicians to ensure smooth execution of commissioning activities.Qualifications & Skills:· Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.· Experience: 2+ years of experience in PLC & SCADA programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting in solar, renewable energy, or industrial automation projects.· Technical Skills:1. Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Mitsubishi.)2. SCADA configuration and troubleshooting (Genesis ICONICS, GX Works, MX OPC etc.)3. Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, panel installation, and industrial networking4. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (RS485, ModbusTCP/IP, OPC, MQTT, etc.)5. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control logic diagrams· Soft Skills:1. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team3. Good communication and documentation skills4.
