Service Engineer

Position Overview

The Service Engineer is responsible for providing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for Leister’s range of products. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on skills, and the ability to interact with customers professionally to ensure smooth operation and after-sales satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, and calibration of Leister machines and systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on Leister products.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Provide technical training and demonstrations to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with the sales and logistics teams for spare parts and warranty-related activities.
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and customer records.
• Support service documentation, process improvements, and feedback reporting.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols during all service operations.
• Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution and high satisfaction levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience: 4–6 years in technical service, maintenance, or field support (preferably in industrial equipment, tools, or machinery).
• Strong technical and analytical skills in electro-mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with soldering, calibration, testing, and diagnostics tools.
• Excellent communication, customer handling, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field service schedules.
• Proficiency in MS Office, service reporting tools, and basic documentation.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
