As our Senior SEO Expert, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies to achieve top SERP rankings for high-volume, competitive keywords (e.g., “Online MBA in India,” “Executive MBA for Working Professionals,” etc.).
You’ll own the full SEO funnel — from technical optimization and on-page SEO to link building, keyword mapping, content planning, and performance reporting.
You’ll also collaborate closely with the content, development, and paid marketing teams to create an integrated growth strategy across channels.
1. SEO Strategy & Keyword Research
Develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies for competitive niches in education.
Perform advanced keyword research, competitor gap analysis, and search intent mapping.
Create and maintain a keyword hierarchy for different funnel stages — TOFU, MOFU, BOFU.
Build topic clusters and pillar pages to strengthen website authority.
Identify and target long-tail, transactional, and informational keywords for lead generation.
2. On-Page & Technical SEO
Optimize website architecture, URL structure, internal linking, and crawl depth for search engine accessibility.
Execute on-page optimization including meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags, schema markup, and image optimization.
Conduct comprehensive site audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.
Ensure website Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile-friendliness, and indexability are at optimum levels.
Collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations and resolve crawl or indexing issues.
3. Content Strategy & SEO Copywriting
Create SEO-optimized blog posts, landing pages, FAQs, and guides aligned with target keywords.
Craft high-quality, authoritative content that balances readability and keyword density.
Use LSI keywords, semantic search optimization, and structured data for better ranking potential.
Collaborate with the content team to maintain a consistent publishing calendar that supports keyword goals.
Ensure content adheres to E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) guidelines.
4. Off-Page SEO & Link Building
Build high-quality backlinks from relevant, authority domains using ethical outreach methods.
Execute digital PR campaigns, guest posting, and influencer collaborations to enhance domain authority.
Manage local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization where applicable.
Monitor backlink profiles for toxicity, disavowal, and domain trust metrics.
5. Analytics, Reporting & Growth
Track performance metrics using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Data Studio.
Analyze organic traffic, CTR, bounce rate, time on site, and keyword ranking trends.
Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with insights and growth recommendations.
Continuously experiment and adapt based on algorithm updates (Google Core Updates, Helpful Content, etc.).
MBA in Digital Marketing or equivalent (mandatory qualification).
Minimum 3 years of hands-on SEO experience in a highly competitive niche (education preferred).
Proven ability to rank and maintain top positions for high-volume keywords.
Strong command over SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, and Google Data Studio.
Technical SEO and site architecture
Content marketing and keyword mapping
Backlink acquisition and off-page optimization
Core Web Vitals and page speed optimization
Excellent writing and editing skills for SEO-driven content.
Strong analytical mindset — must be comfortable interpreting search data and analytics dashboards.
Up-to-date with the latest Google algorithm updates, ranking factors, and AI-integrated SEO trends.
