Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient SEO Engineer to join our digital team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technical SEO, web development fundamentals, and analytics platforms, with a B.Tech background that allows for deeper collaboration with engineering teams. This role requires a data-driven mindset and the ability to implement SEO strategies that improve search rankings and drive organic traffic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement a holistic SEO strategy aligned with overall digital marketing goals and business KPIs.
  • Define measurable SEO goals and regularly report on performance to stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute long-term organic growth initiatives including content clusters, keyword targeting, and UX optimization.





Technical SEO Optimization

· Perform regular technical audits of the website using tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Sitebulb.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues such as crawl errors, broken links, indexation issues, and page speed performance.
  • Work closely with developers to implement structured data/schema markup, canonical tags, redirects, and XML sitemaps.
  • Optimize for Core Web Vitals and mobile usability in line with Google’s ranking signals.
  • Optimize website elements including robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, redirects, and structured data.

On-Page SEO & Content Alignment

Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structure for targeted keywords.

  • Collaborate with content writers and designers to ensure best practices in SEO and UX.
  • Conduct keyword research to guide editorial teams and ensure new content is built with search intent in mind.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building

  • Develop and manage a white-hat link-building strategy including outreach, guest blogging, digital PR, and partnerships.
  • Analyze backlink profiles and monitor for toxic links, taking action when necessary.

Content Collaboration

  • Provide SEO guidelines and briefs for blog posts, product pages, and landing pages.
  • Partner with content teams to ensure SEO-focused content aligns with the company’s tone and goals.




Analytics & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party tools.
  • Monitor keyword rankings, traffic trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities.
  • Conduct A/B tests and experiments to continuously improve SEO strategy.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Paid Media, Content Marketing, Product, and Development teams to align SEO efforts.
  • Contribute to cross-channel marketing campaigns with SEO insights.

SEO Tools & Platforms

  • Google Search Console
  • Google Analytics (GA4 preferred)
  • SEMrush / Ahrefs / Moz / Ubersuggest
  • Screaming Frog SEO Spider
  • Google Tag Manager




Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master degree in B.Tech or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 + years of hands-on SEO experience in an in-house or agency setting.
  • Expertise in SEO tools including but not limited to: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, GTmetrix, and Google Analytics.
  • Proven track record of improving organic rankings and driving measurable organic growth.
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO, including crawling, indexing, structured data, canonicalization, site architecture, and page speed optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, etc.) and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithm updates, ranking factors, and SEO industry trends.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise SEO platforms like BrightEdge, Conductor, or Botify.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
  • Knowledge of international SEO and/or local SEO.
  • Familiarity with CRO and UX best practice
