Senior UX Researcher

About the Role: As a Senior UX Researcher at Loop, you will play a crucial role in rethinking healthcare to empower individuals to lead longer, healthier lives. Collaborating with the design team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of care and insurance products at Loop. Your responsibilities will include conducting user studies using a variety of methods such as interviews, participatory design, digital ethnography, and service safaris. You will facilitate rapid iterative prototype testing to assess both usefulness and usability. Capturing and sharing insights through rich artifacts like journey maps, experience maps, personas, stories, and scenarios will be a key part of your role. Creating a shared understanding of the target audience by conducting workshops with product designers, product managers, and business stakeholders will be essential. Your strong recommendations to the heads of design, product, and business will significantly contribute to shaping Loop's product roadmap and UX strategy. Working closely with designer teammates, engaging in ideation and critiques, and fostering a collaborative studio culture will be part of your day-to-day activities. What We Are Looking For: We are seeking an individual with a profound understanding and appreciation of people's values, behaviors, and needs. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience working on software products. Experience with service design and prior exposure to the healthcare sector will be advantageous. Strong verbal, written, and visual storytelling skills are essential for this role. An understanding of metrics and business fundamentals, along with high organizational skills and proficiency in project and time management, are desired qualities. Candidates with a solid educational background in UX research, regardless of formal design school training, are encouraged to apply.
