Job Summary:
We are looking for Senior Territory Sales Manager to become a part of our team. This position is for our Welding Consumable and Equipment Division. The said team member will be responsible / heading sales operations across the assigned territory.
This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, building key relationships, and delivering strategic market expansion for our high-end welding product lines including consumables and equipment’s.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. Lead and mentor a team of Sales & Service Engineers across assigned territories.
Build and nurture relationships with key customers, principles, distributors, OEMs, and channel partners.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the engineering, fabrication, erection, etc. sectors (consumables and equipment’s). Application industries are very many like steel, power, cement, fabrication, oil & gas, petrochemicals, fertilizers, nuclear, renewables, mining, ship building, glass, aerospace, automobiles and construction industries.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to realign strategies as needed.
Collaborate with internal departments (Accounts, Logistics, Import/Export) to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Submit regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regional legal frameworks.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
Required Skills & Competencies:
Minimum 10 to 15 years’ experience in Sales of different Engineering Capital Goods, Engineering Consumables & Spares, Engineering Raw Materials, Etc.
Preference for a strong understanding of welding processes, equipment, and market trends, but not mandatory.
Proven track record in industrial B2B sales and channel development.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills. Demonstrable experience in managing a team of sales engineers.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results under pressure.
Willingness to travel extensively within the region
Qualification:
B. Tech / BE / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics.
Post Graduation: MBA/PGDM in Marketing will be an additional advantage, but not mandatory.
