Role & Responsibilities

Lead a cross-functional engineering team, overseeing end-to-end delivery of software solutions and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Define and drive technical architecture, design patterns, and best practices for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and sprint plans.
Implement and optimize Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban), track KPIs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Manage resource allocation, performance reviews, and professional development to build a high-performing, motivated team.
Champion DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud infrastructure management to ensure reliability and rapid delivery.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
Proven expertise in software architecture, microservices, RESTful APIs, and database design.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and release management.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team mentorship skills.

Preferred:

Certifications in AWS/Azure/GCP or Scrum Master.
Experience with DevOps toolchains (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform).
Familiarity with security best practices, compliance frameworks, and DevSecOps principles.
Track record of delivering SaaS or enterprise-grade applications in distributed environments.
