Senior Technical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Engineer to lead the technical execution of rugged computing solutions, including rugged PCs, panel PCs, industrial servers, and embedded computing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on integration experience, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and sales teams to deliver mission-critical solutions to defense, aerospace, railways, and industrial customers. Key Responsibilities Lead technical discussions and product configuration based on customer requirements. Design and develop rugged computer solutions including system integration, thermal management, and MIL-grade specifications. Prepare and review technical documentation. Collaborate with R&D, production, and testing teams for end-to-end project execution. Conduct system-level testing, environmental testing, and EMI/EMC compliance validation. Support pre-sales and post-sales technical engagements with customers. Evaluate and select components (SBCs, power supplies, connectors, displays, etc.) suitable for harsh environments. Provide solutions for thermal, shock, vibration, ingress protection (IP65/IP66), and MIL-STD-810/461 compliance. Coordinate with vendors for enclosure fabrication, component procurement, and quality assurance. Mentor junior engineers and technicians in system design and ruggedization techniques. Required Skills and QualificationsB.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or relevant field. 2+ years of experience in rugged/embedded/industrial computing systems will be preferred. Strong knowledge of MIL-STD 810/461, IP standards, and rugged design practices. Familiarity with SBCs (COMe, VPX, Mini-ITX, etc.), I/O interfaces, and industrial buses. Hands-on experience with SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Altium or similar CAD tools. Experience in working with defence or industrial clients is highly desirable. Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and perform root cause analysis. Strong communication skills with customer-facing experience. Opportunity to work on advanced rugged computing technologies.
