Senior Technical Engineer

The Oracle DBA role based in Pune involves managing and maintaining the Oracle Database environment. Your responsibilities will include installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and security. Collaborating with application developers and system administrators is key to designing effective database solutions that align with business requirements. Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases following best practices. - Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures. - Implement security measures to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality. - Backup, restore databases, and establish disaster recovery plans. - Design and optimize database structures in coordination with application development teams. - Conduct regular health checks and capacity planning. - Respond promptly to database incidents and requests. - Document database configurations, changes, and procedures. Qualifications - Minimum 6 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator. - Profound knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery strategies. - Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and other Oracle database features. - Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. - Strong grasp of database security and auditing practices. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Skills - Oracle certification (OCA, OCP) is a plus. - Exposure to cloud-based database solutions. - Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.,
