Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in managing Linux environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux systems, automating tasks, ensuring security compliance, and providing support for infrastructure components and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.) in production and development environments.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
Automate repetitive tasks using scripts (Shell, Python, Ansible, etc.).
Manage web servers (Apache, Nginx), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and other common Linux-based services.
Patch management and kernel upgrades.
Implement and manage configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate with DevOps tools.
Handle incident and problem management, including root cause analysis.
Maintain documentation related to system configuration, processes, and service records.
Collaborate with network, application, and security teams to ensure stable and secure infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 6 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
Hands-on experience with system monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, VirtualBox, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers).
Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Certifications:

Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) / Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
Linux+ or LPIC-1/LPIC-2
AWS/Azure/GCP SysOps Administrator or similar cloud certification (optional)

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good time management and multitasking capabilities.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
