Role Summary : We are hiring a Structural Engineer with strong hands-on design and site experience across both commercial and residential buildings. You will lead RCC/steel design, ensure code compliance, coordinate with architects/MEP/contractors, and support smooth execution from concept to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for RCC and steel: foundations, columns, beams, slabs (including PT), shear walls, staircases, retaining structures.
• Design for seismic and wind loads; produce calculation notes, design basis reports, reinforcement details, BOQs.
• Prepare/review GA drawings and bar bending schedules; review and approve shop drawings and RFIs.
• Ensure compliance with IS/NBC codes: IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 16700, IS 2911, NBC 2016; support statutory approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, geotechnical consultants, and contractors for clash resolution and constructability.
• Conduct site inspections, QA/QC checks; resolve on-site structural issues and issue technical instructions.
• Drive value engineering to optimize safety, durability, cost, and construction speed.
• Contribute to specifications, tender evaluations, method statements, and material submittals.
• Track structural deliverables to project milestones; mentor junior engineers/drafters.

Must-Have Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering from a reputed college; M.E./M.Tech (Structures) is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in building design and execution (commercial and residential).
• Software: ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE/SAP2000, AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit/BIM preferred.
• Strong command of RCC and steel design, ductile detailing (IS 13920), foundation systems (shallow/deep), and construction methodologies.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills; proficiency in English and Hindi. Marathi is preferred.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with mid/high-rise buildings, post-tensioned slabs, retrofitting, and construction stage analysis.
• BIM coordination/clash detection and model-based quantity take-offs.
• Professional memberships (IEI/MIE, Chartered/PE) or licensure.

Schedule and Work Setting

• Full-time, Monday to Saturday; occasional extended hours near milestones.
• On-site role (office + project sites across Nagpur/Vidarbha).
• Ability to commute/relocate to Nagpur, Maharashtra (Required).
