Senior Structural Engineer

• Reports To: Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structural projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design and analysis of projects
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, assess structural integrity, and provide recommendations.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
• Work closely with the team to ensure the successful completion of projects within deadlines and deliver high-quality structural engineering solutions.
• Oversee the work of the team, review project budgets, schedules, collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines and coordinate with clients.
• Perform structural assessments and prepare reports.
• Utilize industry-standard software for structural modeling and analysis.
• Review of structural drawings against the models and calculations for proper detailing.

Key Skills Required:

1. ETABS

2. SAFE

3. High rise concrete building design

4. Sound understanding of wind and earthquake loading

5. Structural steel element design

6. Knowledge of Indian codes like IS:456, IS:800, IS:13920, IS:875 and IS:16700

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Strong communication and leadership abilities.

9. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Qualifications Required:

Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering
