Senior Software Test Automation Engineer

.In this role, you will lead the design, development, and execution of automated test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to implement scalable testing frameworks for web, API, and backend systems. The role involves integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines, identifying issues early, and providing actionable insights to improve product reliability and efficiency. You will mentor team members, contribute to process improvements, and adopt new tools and frameworks to maintain a cutting-edge QA environment. Your work will directly impact product quality, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Accountabilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and backend systems.
  • Integrate performance and scalability testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure QA processes align with development schedules and product requirements.
  • Mentor QA team members and provide technical guidance on testing strategies.
  • Conduct code reviews, suggest improvements, and uphold high-quality standards.
  • Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and product reliability.
  • Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of total experience, with at least 3 years in commercial software quality engineering and test automation.
  • Strong experience in QA, performance testing, and automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native API and microservices QA.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns (pub/sub, webhook, ETL) and agile delivery processes.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with programming languages or testing frameworks (Python, Java, JavaScript) and AI/ML-assisted testing tools is a plus.
