Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with users to understand real-world use cases, challenges, and requirements, and design user-focused solutions.
• Solve complex technical problems using modern tools, languages, frameworks, agile methodologies, and best practices.
• Evaluate requirements to determine ideal tech stacks, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
• Create high-level architecture designs covering application structure, components, and interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and architecture teams.
• Define and implement test strategies, processes, and quality standards.
• Continuously improve performance, optimize applications, and adopt new technologies for efficiency.
• Apply modern programming practices such as TDD, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Support security best practices, including data encryption, anonymization, and secure coding.
• Build intuitive, interactive user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain backend systems, APIs, and microservices.
• Explore and integrate emerging technologies, participating in new stack innovation and collaboration.

Required Experience

• 10+ years overall IT experience
• 8+ years in software development

• Tekton CI/CD pipelines, ArgoCD GitOps, GitHub/GitLab, Jira
• Security & code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube), AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Cloud-native development in GCP or Azure
• Networking fundamentals, observability, AIOps tools
• Network operations experience or CCNA
  

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree / Associate Degree / High School Diploma / GED
  

Additional Position-Specific Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of software development with strong hands-on experience in Go, Python, and React
• Experience with OpenShift, CI/CD practices, SQL, and technical leadership
• Experience in automation (preferably network automation)
• Strong frontend development background (React, CSS)
• Willingness to learn OpenShift architecture and GitOps/DevOps tools (Tekton, ArgoCD)
• Experience building/managing APIs; Perl familiarity is a plus
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and continuous learning mindset
