Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer – Technical Lead

As the technical backbone of the team, you will drive architecture decisions, own critical modules, and actively participate in coding, reviews, deployment, and product strategy. You will set the technical direction while staying closely involved with day-to-day implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full-stack development

  of cybersecurity products using Python (Flask/Django) and Angular/React 
• Act as the

  technical lead

  and guide team members on architecture, development, and problem-solving 
• Write scalable, secure, and well-tested code while enforcing coding standards and best practices 
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and secure integrations with external systems 
• Integrate and manage data pipelines using

  Logstash

  and

  OpenSearch

   
• Build and maintain

  Dockerized

  services deployed via

  Kubernetes

   
• Ensure robust security measures (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC) and compliance with OWASP Top 10 guidelines 
• Conduct code reviews, technical mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions 
• Collaborate with founders, DevOps, and security engineers to align technical goals with business objectives 
• Drive agile practices (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives) and ensure timely delivery 
• Be comfortable wearing multiple hats – from solving bugs to leading architecture discussions 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field 

• 4+ years of experience

  in full-stack development with leadership exposure 
• Expertise in backend development using

  Python (Flask & Django)

   
• Strong frontend skills using

  JavaScript/TypeScript with Angular or React

   
• Deep understanding of database systems: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis 
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Linux environments 
• Familiarity with secure coding standards and system hardening 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-moving environments 
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills 

Bonus Points For

• Exposure to cybersecurity platforms like SIEM, SOAR, threat intel, honeypots 
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP 
• Contributions to open-source, security tooling, or technical blogs
