.As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to translate business needs into technical solutions. This role allows you to take ownership of large initiatives, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers. You will have the opportunity to work on complex, multi-month projects that directly impact product performance and customer experience. Your work will drive the evolution of internal tools, system reliability, and overall engineering excellence. Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of sophisticated software applications, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Provide technical leadership, guide architectural decisions, and solve complex technical challenges
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
  • Take ownership of issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution, maintaining system reliability and performance
  • Drive adoption of new tools, processes, and best practices within the team, improving efficiency and scalability
  • Lead multiple features and coordinate work across engineers, keeping stakeholders informed on progress and issues

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record of delivering sophisticated software solutions with high quality and performance
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
  • Experience in web application development, RESTful APIs, and frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous
  • Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes
  • Familiarity with automation test frameworks (e.g., Karate, WebDriverIO) and Jira workflows is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical and business challenges
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead engineers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, thriving in a team-oriented environment
