We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Software Developer with tangible AI dev experience to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-based applications. This role requires deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, modern software architecture, and agile development practices. The ability to leverage AI tools and methodologies to deliver high quality applications. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can mentor teams, drive innovation, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and supporting business solutions to many strategic programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of cloud-native applications using microservices and serverless patterns
• Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using technologies such as Java, Node.js, Python, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Implement APIs, manage integrations, and optimize performance across distributed systems
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in design, testing, and deployment
• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines and automate testing and deployment processes
• Monitor application health and implement observability tools for proactive issue resolution
• Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to maintain robust cloud environments
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile ceremonies
• Developing pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends
• Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Required Qualifications:

• AI Skills
  • Bachelor's degree OR HS Diploma/GED plus 5+ years equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience
  • 5+ years of software development with a focus on .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
  • 5+ years of REST API development
  • 4+ years of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React
  • 2+ years of database experience (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra)
  • Ability to apply Natural Language Processing (NLP), Intelligent Document Processing, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
  • Ability to deploy and manage ML models on cloud platforms using Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or GCP AI Platform
  • Ability to leverage cloud-native AI tools for model training, deployment, and monitoring
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design, and ship AI-powered features
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP or AWS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in .NET technologies or Agile methodologies
• Experience with Source Control systems (example: GitHub)
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra) and messaging systems (Kafka)
• Experience working in a virtual team environment
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform) and monitoring solutions (Splunk, Dynatrace)
