Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the design and development of large-scale user-facing features for web applications
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to understand user needs and improve product experiences
- Influencing technical strategy, software architecture, and long-term product planning
- Driving implementation of engineering best practices, code quality, and technical standards
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting knowledge sharing within the team
- Advocating for solutions that balance user impact, scalability, and technical excellence
Requirements
Successful candidates will have:
- 5+ years of experience building software applications, with strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development
- Expertise in web application development using technologies such as Node.js, React, TypeScript, Python, Django, and GraphQL
- Experience with database management (PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Datastore) and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Tasks)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Rollbar, and Stackdriver Logging
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration, and ability to lead technical discussions and designs
- Experience advocating for engineering best practices and delivering high-quality code
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Interest in marketing, social media, e-commerce, or content creation
- Experience developing APIs and systems for third-party integrations
- Familiarity with analytics products, CRM platforms, or marketing technology
