Senior software engineer

Summary: As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, building, testing and maintaining applications to meet business requirements. You will collaborate with other engineers and business partners to ensure successful delivery of projects. Your role will involve developing solutions using programming languages such as C++, Java or Python and working with databases like Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL. You’ll also need to stay up-to-date on industry trends in technology and coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy and support applications by writing code in various computer languages.
• Confer with management, development teams, and project managers to determine project needs and requirements.
• Monitor systems for performance issues and take corrective action as needed.
• May create technical documentation for reference by other developers.
• Work closely with other engineering team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Ensure the scalability, performance and security of our products.
• Stay current with new technologies and tools to continuously improve your craft.
  

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).4+ years of Software Engineering experience.Proficiency with data manipulation languages including optimization techniques.Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modelling principles.Experience with configuration management and release processes.Ability to write clear and concise reports and technical documentation.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must not have received any Disciplinary Action within the past 12 months.Must not have any Attendance and Punctuality issues in the past 12 month.Must have a Successful or above rating in the last Enabling Performance cycle.
