What will you do?

• Build core platform capabilities

  : Design, develop, and maintain backend services that power our AI-driven penetration testing engine, processing thousands of security tests and generating actionable vulnerability reports

• Architect for scale

  : Create robust, scalable REST APIs that handle high-volume testing requests while maintaining performance and reliability across our growing customer base

• Drive security innovation

  : Work on new features and product functions that expand the platform's security testing capabilities

• Own end-to-end delivery

  : Take features from concept through deployment, working closely with product, security research, and frontend teams to deliver solutions customers love

• Ensure platform reliability

  : Monitor system performance, optimize bottlenecks, debug production issues, and maintain the stability of our security testing infrastructure

• Collaborate cross-functionally

  : Partner with security researchers to implement new vulnerability detection techniques and with customer success to understand real-world use cases

• Mentor and grow

  : Share knowledge with the team, participate in code reviews, and contribute to our engineering culture of continuous improvement

Core requirements:

• 4-8 years of hands-on backend development experience with strong Java expertise
• Deep proficiency in building RESTful APIs and understanding HTTP protocols
• Experience with Spring Boot Framework and microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Familiarity with Redis, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and caching strategies
• Experience with Docker, containerization, Kubernetes and modern deployment practices
• Experience with version control systems like Git and API testing tools like Postman
• Strong understanding of Linux environments and command-line operations
• Solid understanding of security best practices, authentication/authorization patterns
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex production issues
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with iterative development practices
• Leadership qualities with ability to mentor junior engineers and drive technical decisions
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native development
• Knowledge of application security concepts, OWASP Top 10, vulnerability assessment
• Background in building developer tools, security products, or compliance platforms
• Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data processing
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
• Understanding of GraphQL APIs and API security testing
• Experience with performance monitoring and observability tools
• Previous work in SaaS/B2B product companies
