About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure OR AWS, strong experience in building and maintaining reliable, scalable systems, and a passion for automation and operational excellence. You will work closely with development, operations, business and security teams to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of our cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable systems on Cloud.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and postmortem processes to improve system reliability.
• Automate operational tasks and workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Optimize cost, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure.
• Champion SRE best practices such as error budgets, SLIs/SLOs, and capacity planning.
• Participate in on-call rotations and ensure rapid response to production issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7- 9 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, AKS, App Services, etc.). or equivalent (AWS/ GCP/ OpenShift)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment strategies.
• Expertise in monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-cloud environments or hybrid setups.
• Exposure to performance tuning and cost optimization in Azure.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Developer
